Application

 

Peptide synthesis: Due to the strong UV absorption of Fmoc, it can be conveniently detected by UV absorption. Therefore, it is widely used in peptide synthesis. It can be compatible with a wide range of solvents and reagents, has high mechanical stability, and can be used with various carriers and activation methods.


Organic synthesis and biochemistry: As an important amino acid derivative, the alkyne group on its side chain makes this substance highly reactive, allowing it to participate in efficient coupling reactions such as the Click reaction, and is commonly used for synthesizing or modifying biological molecules.


Affinity ligands: In the synthesis of animal probes for neurotensin receptor subtype 1 (NTS1) tumors, the polypeptide-peptoid hybrid compound [68Ga]3, which is synthesized using Fmoc-N-(4-Boc-aminobutyl)glycine, has high stability and can bind to specific tumors. This peptoid can be used as an affinity ligand.
