Application
Fmoc-L-Cys(Acm)-OH (9-Fluorenylmethyl Chloroformate-S-Acetamidomethyl-L-Cysteine) is a protected amino acid commonly used in peptide synthesis.
In peptide synthesis, the amino and carboxyl groups of each amino acid residue require protection to prevent cross-linking or polymerization during peptide chain assembly.
