Application

L-Aspartic acid-β-methylester hydrochloride is an important biochemical reagent and intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceutical chemicals.

Biochemical reagent: It is used as a protecting group for amino acids, and can be used in enzyme-catalyzed synthesis of CCK-4 tripeptides segmentally.

Pharmaceutical chemical synthesis intermediate: It can be used to prepare L-aspartic acid-4-methylester-1-benzyl ester. L-aspartic acid-4-methylester-1-benzyl ester can be used as a chiral source for the synthesis of a large number of organic compounds or drugs, or as an intermediate for the synthesis of other important L-aspartic acid derivatives, such as Hanishin, longamide B and its S-enantiomer, 1-β-methyl carbapenem, TA-949, and others.
