Application

L-Proline benzyl ester hydrochloride is an organic compound, chemically known as C12H15O2N·HCl. It is a white crystal and used as a pharmaceutical raw material and food additive.

It has a wide range of applications in peptide chemistry and is used as a chiral auxiliary in asymmetric Diels-Alder reactions.
