Application

 

Sequence Design: Firstly, scientists design a polypeptide with a specific amino acid sequence based on the target structure and biological activity of Tilpotide. If lysine is included in the design and it is desired to maintain its α-amino group active during subsequent steps, Boc-L-lysine becomes an ideal choice.

 

Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS): During the SPPS process, Boc-L-lysine can be coupled with other amino acid derivatives (which may also be protected) through amide bonds, gradually building up the complete sequence of Tilpotide. After each coupling step, washing and purification are performed to ensure the accuracy of each step and the purity of the product.

 

Deprotection: Once all amino acids have been connected in the predetermined sequence, a deprotection step is carried out to remove all protective groups, including the Boc group, restoring the original functional groups of amino acids such as lysine.

 

Folding and Post-processing: For polypeptides that require the formation of specific three-dimensional structures, like Tilpotide, folding and further chemical modifications or purification steps may be necessary to ensure their stability and biological activity.

 

Biological Activity Assessment: Finally, the synthesized Tilpotide or its analog is subjected to a series of biological activity assessments to determine whether it possesses the expected therapeutic effects or pharmacological actions.
