Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS):
Fmoc-D-Thr(tBu)-OL is commonly used in solid-phase peptide synthesis as one of the raw materials for synthesizing peptide chains. In SPPS, a resin serves as the carrier, and protected amino acids such as Fmoc-D-Thr(tBu)-OL are coupled to amino acid residues on the resin through coupling reagents to form peptide bonds. By repeating this process, peptide chains with specific sequences can be synthesized.
Liquid-Phase Peptide Synthesis: In addition to SPPS, Fmoc-D-Thr(tBu)-OL can also be used in liquid-phase peptide synthesis.
